Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) highlighted some of the most shocking discoveries made by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), emphasizing that the American public fully understands Elon Musk 's mission to eliminate waste. But in Washington, common sense is illegal.
' He continued, 'They understand what Musk is doing,' referring to Americans who have suffered under Bidenflation, 'They understand spending porn and wasting taxpayer money.'Kennedy described Musk's findings as 'fascinating.' He began by discussing Musk's exploration of the USAID, which manages a significant portion of America's foreign aid. Kennedy acknowledged the generosity of the American people, noting that they readily assist those in need within their own country and abroad. However, he revealed Musk's discovery that American taxpayers are funding programs in Afghanistan, Yemen, and Syria. He expressed surprise, stating, 'I didn't know that some of our foreign aid is going to Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria.' Kennedy further revealed that Musk found USAID employs 10,000 people and annually distributes $40 billion in aid. While acknowledging that some of this funding likely serves beneficial purposes, Kennedy highlighted Musk's disconcerting findings.Musk discovered that USAID allocated funds to support electric vehicle initiatives in Vietnam, using taxpayer money. He also uncovered funding provided to a transgender clinic in India and a Serbian LGBTQ group, which received $1.5 million to 'advance diversity, equity, inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities.' Kennedy questioned why these specific recipients were receiving funding, emphasizing the need for greater transparency and accountability. Continuing his exposé, Kennedy revealed that Musk's review of a study uncovered that USAID spent $164 million supporting radical organizations worldwide. He emphasized that this funding was not directed towards harmless groups but towards organizations aligned with foreign terrorist entities. Kennedy cited reports indicating that USAID provided $122 million to groups associated with foreign terrorist organizations and millions of dollars to organizations in Gaza controlled by Hamas. He questioned why Congress was not discussing these recipients of taxpayer funds and emphasized the need for immediate action to address these concerns
