KENINGAU: Alesyah Asa, an alumni of Keningau Vocational College who is currently working as an assistant supervisor at  a construction company, received the Icon Sabah Icon Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Award.

The award presentation was held in conjunction with the International Sabah TVET Symposium on October 10 and 11 at The Magellan Sutera Resort.State Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Haji Nizam Haji Abu Bakar Titingan presented the award to Alesyah.The symposium was organised jointly by North Borneo University College , Institute Development Studies and Skills Development Department .Alesyah received a plaque, certificate and RM5,000.
