-approved, up-and-coming Latin trap star looks back at his rough upbringing dealing with gun violence, political unrest in Puerto Rico. For the first time, he shares his version of events of the case that ultimately led to his arrest.
Following his release from jail, the Puerto Rican rising rapper was signed to Anuel's indie label Real Hasta La Muerte and is managed by Frabian Eli Carrión, Anuel's manager. Kaponi is featured on Bad Bunny's chart-topping"Resistencia" who was co-produced by Frabian Eli, Agustín Barreto and Súper Yei. The evocative video was directed by Mexican filmmaker Fernando Lugo.
Kaponi's confessional song leads him to reflect about life in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic."Like in a spiritual war, the enemy is not visible," he raps."My family feels unsafe and the images we've seen are horrifying. I never thought I'd live through anything like this."
