Kelly Ripa once thought she could talk to dolphins
“Many years ago, we were at our friend’s 50th birthday in Mexico, OK, and they rented a boat for sunset cocktails,” she started. “And all of a sudden in the water, we were surrounded by wild dolphins.” Kelly Ripa spoke about an encounter with dolphins on Tuesday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark” with her husband, Mark Consuelos.
The former actress, 53, then detailed that she was coming from filming an episode of the talk show in Miami where she swam with dolphins and “communicated” with them. However, one of her friends reminded her they had encountered “wild dolphins” and “not trained dolphins.”Ripa’s co-host and husband of 28 years, Mark Conseulos, then playfully told her, “Yeah. You need to be able to do that in Spanish, and then it’d be fine.”
