Accompanied by her band, Clarkson belted out Franklin's 1967 hit, including the lyrics: 'I ain't nothin' but your fool. Ya treated me mean, Oh you treated me cruel.'
"I’m back from Montana and holding it down here in LA now," Clarkson said ahead of her performance."It’s a complicated time. It’s a time to reflect, listen and connect with each other, all right? But sometimes we also need to balance it and take time for ourselves."Her performance came less than a week after news broke that Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock. She officially filed court papers to end her marriage on June 4.
Clarkson, 38, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and requested that she not be required to pay Blackstock, 43, spousal support.
