Keke Palmer Shared Her Unseen Disney Channel Show With Vanessa Hudgens

not to be dramatic but we NEEDED this show 😭

Keke and Jamal . “When I first moved to California I was introduced to Ralph Farquhar he took a chance on me and he landed me this pilot with Disney Channel that didn’t get picked up,” she explained.

Just 10-years-old at the time, Keke said that the show was based on her life, saying, “A little girl named Keke with big dreams of being an entertainer and her tight nit family…I can remember it like it was yesterday 😭. We filmed this on the old That’s So Raven set and that was when I first met Raven Symone. True dream come true for me and like a fairytale.” Included in Keke's trip down memory lane was a trailer for the series, which listed Keke, along with André Jamal Kinney as its main stars. As the trailer goes on to reveal, Vanessa, along with Max Van Ville and Earl Billings were named as costars. Keke's Instagram post doesn't include a full episode of the shelved series, but fans do get a peek at a few scenes, including a moment with Vanessa. For the show, it appeared as if Vanessa played Keke's rival, and, which André shared on Instagram, both Vanessa and Keke got to show off their singing abilities. There's no word on why Disney Channel ultimately decided to pass on the series, but it's clear that despite the initial setback, Keke went on to do some pretty great things.
