Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted John Textor buying in at Watford could bring some much-needed change from the Pozzos’ reign., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted the new investment could be “exciting” and bring more stability to the second-tier outfit.reported on 4 November that Textor is eyeing a shock move for Watford if he sells his stake in Crystal Palace.

“They’ve had a lot of managers who have only had a very short time, but the Pozzos have been reasonable in terms of looking after the club financially. “So I think it’s time for a bit more stability. Having Textor in with his other football assets could be positive.“I’ve no doubt that he’s a football man now. He’s had hard knocks, some tough situations in Brazil and with Palace.
