Parents are being warned to keep young children out of the sun as a summer heatwave hits the UK.
This would be the first time temperatures have ever exceeded 40°C in the UK, shattering the current record of 38.7°C set in 2019.by the UK Health Security Agency , which acts as an early warning system for health and social care agencies. Moreno Francioso from Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service said: “Every summer, our service attends incidents involving people who have attempted to swim in open water.
