Good Fortune has officially set a release date for next year. This action-comedy film follows the story of an angel who, attempting to teach a man a lesson, body swaps him with his rich boss. The movie was written and directed by comedian Aziz Ansari. Good Fortune features a star-studded leading cast including Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, and Ansari. Ansari also produces the film along with Brady Fukijawa, Jon Humphrey, Anthony Katagas, David Koplan, Jonathan McCoy, and Alan Yang.
What This Means For Good Fortune Lionsgate Is Releasing Another Major Film That Month Good Fortune was not the only Lionsgate movie that announced a release date for next year. This week, it was also unveiled that the distributor's upcoming biopic Michael was to push its release date from April 2025 to October 3. This release date move was not due to any production delays, but rather Lionsgate's desire to position Michael closer to prime time awards season.
Our Take On Good Fortune's Release Date This Is Not A Great Sign For The Film's Performance ✕ Remove Ads Lionsgate putting Michael and Good Fortune so close together might not be a great sign for the Ansari film. While the Michael release date move definitely made sense for the biopic, Good Fortune's close release date might mean that Lionsgate has less faith in the action-comedy.
