Kaylee Goncalves' sister breaks silence after Bryan Kohberger arrest
led law enforcement to Kohberger as the suspect in the November 13 slayings of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
Speaking for the first time since the affidavit was released, Goncalves' sister Alivea Goncalves told's Brian Entin that it had felt like"the weight of the world" was lifted from he family's shoulders when an arrest was made. Bryan Kohberger, right, appears at a hearing in Latah County District Court on January 5, 2023, in Moscow, Idaho. The sister of one of the slain University of Idaho students has said her family feels incredible relief now that Kohberger is in custody, but that it's difficult to know that"true evil" was watching them before the murders.
According to the affidavit, Kohberger's cell phone was near the area of the King Road house in Moscow where the murders occurred
