Why did you choose to work with him? The truth is I wrote these songs from my experience of my whole life going through this metamorphosis. Most of the flack Katy received was because she chose to work with Dr. Luke on at least five tracks off her new album, ‘143,’ after Kesha brought a sexual assault lawsuit against the producer back in 2014, which he denied and counter sued for defamation. They ended up settling outside of court in 2023.
