The American singer is preparing for the release of her sixth studio album, but an ongoing promotional missive has been overshadowed by the brutal response to its lead single, Women's World.
The tepid reception afforded her new music was swept aside on Monday as Katy Perry enjoyed her latest European holiday with Orlando Bloom, this time on Italy's Amalfi Coast.
Making an appearance in Maiori, a popular Amalfi Coast tourist resort famed for its long stretch of coastline, the singer caught the eye in a forest green bikini set while froclicking in the surf with her British fiancé. Perry's new single Lifetimes will be released on August 9, and she was evidently pleased to be out of office before unleashing it on the general public
With the single plummeting down the US iTunes chart less than a week since its July 11 release, Perry is said to be 'freaking out' and demanding that her team go 'back to the drawing board' to save her album from suffering the same fate. Perry's outing comes after DailyMail.com revealed she is 'pointing the fingers at everyone but herself' after her comeback single, Woman's World, failed to set the charts alight
A New York state judge ruled against Kesha in 2020 saying she had defamed her former producer with the claim, and an appeals court upheld that decision in 2021. She also acknowledged what the public feedback would be if she chose to collaborate with Dr. Luke amid his battle with Kesha. Bloom eventually pulled himself upright and sat cross-legged on the gravel beach as the surf lapped at his feet
