Katy Perry and John Mayer, who dated on and off from 2013 to 2015, were spotted chatting at a Sabrina Carpenter concert in Los Angeles
Katy Perry and John Mayer recently had an unexpected run-in in Los Angeles.
According to a video shared by DeuxMoi, the exes were sitting in the VIP section together. Perry was sitting in the row in front of Mayer. In the clip, the pair chatted as they hung out in the audience. Perry turned her head around to speak with Mayer. Mayer and Perry’s run-in comes nearly a decade after their breakup. In 2012, the twosome began their on-and-off romance before calling it quits for good in 2015. Throughout their relationship, Perry and Mayer collaborated musically.
“It’s just so authentic,” Mayer said in a joint interview with ABC News at the time about their collaboration. “There’s nothing scripted in that video except putting a bull in the middle of the desert.”Perry added, “Relationships are kind of like riding a bull. You hang on for dear life and sometimes you get a little buck here and there but you get back on.”Following their split, Perry began her romance with Bloom, 47. The couple, who also had an on-and-off relationship, got engaged in 2019.
