Comedian Kathy Griffin, while promoting her new show 'My Life On the PTSD List', joked about the possibility of being placed in internment camps under the incoming Trump administration. Griffin referenced her past controversy with a photo of a Trump mask coated in ketchup and claimed she's on Trump's 'enemies list.' She also defended her patriotism, citing her experience performing for US service members in the Middle East.
Comedian Kathy Griffin joined a Chicago radio station on Tuesday and urged fans to attend her comedy show before she is placed “in one of those internment camps” under the incoming Trump administration.
“I do kind of go back and forth between some stuff because it’s been a few seven years since my Trump decapitated head photo scandal where I was on the no-fly list and the Interpol list, and now he’s going to be president again and I’m on the enemies list, so come see me before I’m in one of those internment camps,” she said.
Griffin also touched on her time performing comedy routines for U.S. service members deployed in the Middle East. That experience, she said, should qualify her as a real patriot.
