Katherine Jenkins has revealed she has no regrets about helping an elderly woman fight off muggers last year.

Without hesitation, Katherine jumped in to help, but was mugged too as her phone was allegedly stolen by two 15 year old girls. Speaking to Stella magazine, Katherine said of the woman: "She was clearly in distress, screaming for help. So many people just walked past.Her husband, American film director Andrew Levitas, who she shares Aaliyah, four, and one year old Xander with, was in New York at the time.She continued: "I thought, 'If he hears about this, not through me, what will he say?'"

The star explained: "The first thing he said was, 'You did the right thing, I’m proud of you.' I was like, OK. That was my [worry].
