Kate Middleton wears £15 floral-print face mask to visit baby bank
has been continuing her face-to-face engagements – this time with a trip to a cause very close to her heart, yesterday afternoon.
Kate visited Sheffield-based baby bank, Baby Basics, to find out how they're supporting some of the UK's most vulnerable families during tough times.While at the charity's HQ she helped unpack donations from 19 of the UK's major retailers, who have recently donated 10,000 items for families in crisis after a call out from Catherine, and spoke to some of the mothers who have accessed the service in recent months.
Kate said: 'Over recent months, I have heard from families who have been supported by baby banks through the most difficult of times and I have been deeply moved by their stories. Having somewhere to turn to for support is important for all families, and baby banks work every day, up and down the country, to provide immediate, tangible and practical help for parents and carers when they are most in need.
