Before she was Catherine, Princess of Wales, she was Kate Middleton, a regular, clever student living in England., the mom of three ran into a former teacher of hers. Professor Jim Embury was in the crowd as the Waleses did their royal walkabout outside the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, and upon seeing him, a happily surprised Kate gave him a big hug.Embury, who volunteers at the museum, taught the now-royal history in prep school.
Kate sat in Embury's class about 25 years ago—long before she entered the British monarchy—and he remembers her fondly.
