The Princess of Wales, 41, looked sunny in a symbolic yellow blazer from L.K. Bennett with black trousers as she participated in the #HelloYellow movement, with people invited to wear the bright color Tuesday in honor of young people’s mental health. Her black-and-yellow look held another special meaning, as the colors are featured in the logos of Beyond and Young Minds UK, the charities attending the youth mental health forum the royal couple hosted.
Maidenhead Rugby Club coach Sarah Renton gifted the earrings to the Princess of Wales after revealing that her 17-year-old daughter, Issy, had died by suicide in April and that the earrings were made by a jeweler cousin in her honor.Middleton hugged the coach and promised to wear the earrings at the time, with World Mental Health Day proving to be an ideal opportunity to bring them out as proceeds from each pair support the charity Brave Mind.
There’s more royal fashion to look forward to this week as Wednesday and Thursday bring more appearances for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
