Kate's husband has been in hospital for 10 weeks
Kate Garraway has left viewers in tears after taking to Good Morning Britain to update fans on her husband's coronavirus battle.The 53 year old presenter has now taken to her ITV breakfast show for the first time since Derek fell ill and given fans a new update in an extremely moving interview.
She said: "He is now Covid free, so he's testing negative for the Covid virus, so the fight with the virus has been won and he's still here.
"And then on the Friday after I'd had my eye drama, I got back and I said 'you don't look right, babe, what is going on?' and he said, 'I think it's the painkillers' and I just had this weird feeling.
