Kate Garraway has opened up about her upcoming documentary about her late husband Derek Draper, having shared that it has been 'pretty emotional' working on it
Kate Garraway has shared her emotional journey while working on a documentary about her late husband, Derek Draper. The 56-year-old presenter spoke about the upcoming special during her co-hosting stint on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
While discussing the project on the ITV morning show, she said: "It's been pretty emotional actually. Makes you want to jump in the screen and give him a hug." In her conversation with Ed on the show, she said: "You can't quite believe that he's not with us to watch his story. But, hopefully, it will be very useful for others who that are going through the same thing. That's the dream and the wish.
She added: "You're right, there's fragility, vulnerability, obviously deep ill-health and damage, but yeah he was his own man until the end.
