Kate and William have been photographed (like many of us) taking the tube to visit a pub in Soho. We wonder if it'll be followed by the obligatory midnight Maccies run.
Kate and William tapped on at Acton Main Line station to board the Tube line – named after the Prince’s late gran Queen Elizabeth II – and travelled east to alight atAlong the way, they sat in a carriage with other passengers and chatted with Transport for London workers.
They included the TfL commissioner Andy Lord, who talked the royal pair through the organisation’s plans for dealing with the influx of visitors coming to the capital for coronation day. After arriving, the couple paid a visit to the Dog & Duck pub, across the road from the local Nando’s, as crowds of people strained to get a picture. The windows of the pub were decorated with bunting featuring small pictures of William’s soon-to-be-crowned dad.
