Kate Middleton raised eyebrows she gave Prince William a quick tap on the bum in a rare public display of affection, as they attended King Charles' second Coronation in Scotland
Kate Middleton and Prince William showed a rare public display of affection when she briefly tapped him on the bum, as they joined King Charles and Queen Camilla in Scotland.
It's rather unusual to see these displays of affection between members of the royal family, with Zara and Mike Tindall being one notable exception to the rule, but in recent years the Prince and Princess of Wales have been known to show off their love more and more. The couple's tight and stable bond is something that former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond feels is the key to the couple's success, especially when contrasted with the emotionally fraught home that Prince William grew up in with King Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
