Kat Von D claims that a counselor at the disgraced youth treatment center Provo Canyon School led her to believe she contracted HIV from a tattoo.Wednesday’s episode of Paris Hilton’s new podcast, “Trapped in Treatment,”
“I don’t know whose idea it was, but at one point the counselor set me aside and basically told me that I had contracted HIV from a tattoo.” Kat Von D claims a school official at Provo Canyon once told her she contracted HIV from her tattoos.Von D said her parents put her in Provo — which was— because they “were terrified of the tattoo world.”
Von D, seen here with husband Rafael Reyes, says Provo Canyon is the “root” of her substance abuse issues.In October 2020, following the release of Hilton’s documentary, Von D decided toabout her own abuse allegations against her former school, calling it the “most traumatic six months” of her life.
