.kashdoll's 'Ice Me Out' hits No. 1 on the Top Triller U.S. chart
’s Top Triller U.S. chart in its three weeks of existence, debuting atop the tally dated Aug. 1.
The Top Triller U.S. and Top Triller Global charts highlight the biggest songs on Triller based on a formula blending the amount of views of videos containing a respective songs, the level of engagement with those videos and the raw total of videos uploaded featuring each song, according to Triller. Data for the charts is represented on a Friday-Thursday tracking week, with the latest period running July 17-23.
“Ice Me Out” was originally released by the Detroit rapper on Aug. 23, 2018. However, the song has found new legs in recent months after gaining steam on user-generated-upload apps such as Triller. For comparison’s sake, outside of the Triller platform, the song garnered 567,000 U.S. on-demand streams on Nielsen Music/MRC Data-tracked DSPs in the tracking week running Dec. 27, 2019, to Jan. 2, 2020.
The top video on Triller for the week, posted by user montereyybay on July 16 as part of the #icemeoutchallenge, has garnered 1.1 million global plays on Triller at press time.
