Kartel daging didenda RM1.5 juta, pengarah RM100,000

JOHOR BAHRU: Syarikat pembekal daging sejuk beku, LY Frozen Food Sdn. Bhd., didenda sebanyak RM1.5 juta selepas mengaku bersalah atas tujuh pertuduhan termasuk menggunakan logo halal palsu, tiga tahun lalu.

Fatimah turut memerintahkan seorang lagi tertuduh, iaitu pengurus stor, Chong Kim Kuang, 50, dibebas dan dilepaskan daripada kesemua tujuh pertuduhan sebelum ini kerana dia hanyalah seorang pekerja di syarikat berkenaan. Kesalahan itu dilakukan di premis syarikat berkenaan yang beralamat di Taman Perindustrian Desa Idaman, Senai, Kulai antara 1 hingga 3 Disember 2020.
