“They do not want me on the ballot because they know that with me on the ballot with President Trump, they're going to have to roll out even in a bigger way than they already have in 2020 and 2022 a cheating machine,” KariLake said.
She has fought the results showing her losing by 17,117 votes in a state where there have been reports of electioneering irregularities. Lake says she was robbed. Others aren’t so sure.Either way, she told Secrets on Tuesday, running again wasn’t her first choice. “Trust me, that's not something I was really jonesing to do,” Lake said, just back from a pre-book tour vacation and fishing trip to the Bahamas.
“I said, ‘Are you kidding? And I'm not motivated by money. I walked away from a seven-figure [TV] contract and a big, high-profile job.’ And as I was ushering him out of my home, he said, ‘Well, what would it take?’ How much would it take, basically, to put my political career on ice for two years?” she said.
