Several General Nakar, Quezon residents still recovering from Super Typhoon Karding have received help in rebuilding their homes from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to a “24 Oras” report Wednesday, among the beneficiaries was Mamerto Velasquez, whose home was washed away by water and strong winds.
Another beneficiary was Diana Angeles, who is currently pregnant and living with a relative after their home was also damaged. They are still saving money to have their house fixed. Among the things they received were galvanized roofing sheets, rubber mats, and food packs under the “Silong Kapuso” project.
GMA Kapuso Foundation accepts donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank, and Lazada.
