The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for their extravagant holiday parties, but Kim Kardashian revealed that they will be having a more intimate gathering for the 2024 season. The tradition began with matriarch Kris Jenner hosting Christmas Eve parties that her children cherish. Kim and her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, later took over hosting duties.
The family has been celebrating the end of the year since Kris started in 1978, with some events featured on their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Although they are opting for a smaller celebration in 2024, it's possible they will return to a larger bash in 2025, giving the other siblings—Rob, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie—a chance to host. Since the family is taking a more relaxed approach and likely won't have as many celebrity guests in 2024, let's look back at some of their past celebrations. 2023 saw Kim host a winter wonderland themed party, complete with a sledding hill and a pop-up ski lodge with a performance by Babyface. In 2022, Kourtney hosted an 'elegant Victorian meets fairy-like rustic' party in a massive glass tent with a performance by Sia. The family canceled their 2021 and 2020 parties due to the COVID-19 pandemic
