“No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew,” is where it starts to get into the weird zone. Maybe I’ve just got my guard up but it seems to me that West is using his self-professed pious Christianity as a get-out-of-jail-free card. It’s almost like a “hey, no matter what I do or say will ever stick to me because of this loophole.”
Additionally, if one has listened to many of West’s diatribes in the past , you’ll hear an unusual rhetorical flourish of him never saying “Jew” or even “Jewish.” It’s always just “Jew.” If it was once or twice, fine, but it feels to me like it is a linguistic decision that is intended to have a little more sting.has reached out to Hill’s representatives to see if the actor-director had any comment.
