A Kansas former high school teacher and coach is facing felony charges of having sex with a 17-year-old student multiple times at his house and the high school.
Fox News has reached out to the school district for comment. Olathe police declined to comment citing an ongoing investigation. the district said it took"swift action to place Mesa on leave" and referred the matter to the police for investigation.
A spokeswoman said the district took the allegations of staff misconduct"very seriously" and is"committed to ensuring that our students are educated in a safe environment."
