The Stowers Institute for Medical Research is actively seeking applications from early career scientists for multiple Assistant Investigator positions. This opportunity is ideal for visionary researchers who are looking to establish their independent research programs in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Stowers Institute is also home to an outstanding, nationally accredited Graduate School program. The Graduate School provides Stowers investigators with invaluable opportunities to teach, mentor, and nurture the next generation of scientists. Successful candidates will serve as professors within this program, enabling them to recruit Ph.D. and master’s students, as well as summer scholars, to participate in their research initiatives.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent and have postdoctoral experience that demonstrates innovation and excellence in their field. Applicants with up to five years of experience as independent investigators are also encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2024.
