Kaneland School District 302 board members have begun the process of searching for the district’s next superintendent, as current Superintendent Todd Leden has announced he will retire at the end of the 2025 school year.
Leden began as superintendent in the Kaneland School District on July 1, 2015. Kaneland School District Superintendent Todd Leden. Board President Addam Gonzales thanked the superintendent for his leadership over the years. ”Dr. Leden has been a dedicated superintendent guiding Kaneland for the past nine years. We are grateful for his excellent service as he prepares to retire,” Gonzales said at the Oct. 11 board meeting.

The other phases include candidate screenings, evaluation and hiring. ”The community is going to have a vital role in this at all ends. We need you,” Gonzales said.
