A 2019 video from Kamala Harris' campaign has gone viral after resurfacing when Joe Biden stepped down from the 2024 presidential election, endorsing the vice president as the new Democratic nominee.The video is widely recirculating on X, formerly Twitter. It slams Donald Trump, calling him a 'world leader in temper tantrums' and goes on to say, 'He's tearing us apart; she'll bring us together.
Biden has since publicly endorsed Harris on X, posting, 'My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it's been the best decision I've made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it's time to come together and beat Trump. Let's do this.
