A tweet from a democratic leader has sparked anarchy after it appeared to reveal who Kamala Harris will pick as her Presidential running mate in the days before her final selection.
Ms Parker accompanied the post with footage of a recent press conference which ended with: “Josh Shapiro for Vice President”.Reporter Ernest Owens claimed Ms Parker accidently made the post days ahead its intended reveal on Monday. “Did Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L Parker just announce who Kamala Harris’ running mate will be? As it turns out, no,” he said.
Harris is in the final stages of selecting her presidential running mate after the 59-year-old earned enough votes from Democratic delegates to secure the party’s nomination. Kelly and Shapiro both represent swing states with Kelly having been an influential voice for democrats on immigration and border security.
