Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris minutes after presidential debate: ‘I’ve made my choice’
The Democratic National Committee released a billboard in New York City’s Time Square this week that features a photo of Harris, 59, over the phrase “We’re In Our Kamala Era,”
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” the “Fortnight” singer, 34, announced via Instagram at the time. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote in a lengthy post.Swift also praised Harris’ running mate, Tim Waltz, whom she said had been “standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”http://www.kamalaharris.
