Actress Kaley Cuoco revealed on a podcast that she and partner Tom Pelphrey sleep in separate beds, a decision made to accommodate Pelphrey's sleep schedule and the needs of their daughter, Matilda. The couple, who utilize couples therapy, found the arrangement beneficial for both of them, allowing for better sleep and individual routines.

11, 2018, in Santa Monica, Calif. podcast, hosted by Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, Cuoco revealed she and Pelphrey, who have one daughter, Matilda, do not share a bed anymore. The decision was practical, as Pelphrey realized he couldn’t sleep well with two older dogs barking at all hours of the night. Pelphrey opted to sleep in the guest room, and he and Cuoco haven’t looked back. “Tom is a night owl,” "The Big Bang Theory” star explained. “I go to bed earlier because I’m the one who gets up with Matilda in the morning He is a night owl. The arrangement benefits Cuoco, as well. “I'm up with Matilda at 7 a.m. She comes in bed with me. I can turn things on. I don't have to worry about waking him up. It just works for us,” she said. Before the duo officially began sleeping apart, Cuoco revealed they discussed the decision in a safe place. “We do couples therapy, and we love it. It's amazing. So he brings this up, and at first, I'm like, ‘What will people think?’ And he's like, ‘I never see you at night,’” she recalled. “It’s not our sexy time, we don't cuddle, we don't see each other at night.
