Kaizer Chiefs legends reveals how creative support, exemplified by Gaston Sirino, can elevate Chivaviro and Du Preez's performances.
Kaizer Chiefs strikers are once again in the spotlight as advice is given to maximise Ranga Chivaviro and Ashley Du Preez.
Chivaviro showcased remarkable goal-scoring ability in the 2022/2023 season, netting 17 goals in 30 matches for Gallants Majoro emphasises the importance of having a creative player to support Chivaviro and Du Preez on the field. He recalls how Siphiwe Tshabalala consistently provided him with key passes during his time at Chiefs.To enhance their squad, the Glamour Boys signed former Mamelodi Sundowns star Gaston Sirino as a free agent ahead of the current season. Sirino has already made an impact, scoring one goal and delivering two assists in three appearances.
He believes that “ Du Preez and Ranga need those kinds of players that will say keep making your runs, then we will give you a ball regardless, of first-time failure, second-time failure, or if you miss your one-on-one.”This encouragement motivates players, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment. Majoro adds that having creative players who trust in their abilities significantly increases their chances of scoring.
