Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson was not pleased with the side's performance after dropping points against Royal AM. Amakhosi opened the new year with a goalless draw against Royall AM after passing up numerous chances. Ashley Du Preez unable to convert a few one-on-one chances in both halves, but the overall performance did not make the coach happy.
"I don't know what I need to say, yes we missed very good chances, we missed four one-on-ones, Ashley had four times one-on-ones, he should have scored the goals but we didn't get it," Johnson said on SuperSport TV. "But did we play well today? No, I don't think so. I'm not happy with my performance as our team. I think our team is a lot better than what we showed today
