Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have confirmed that they will be appointing new coaches. Pitso Mosimane and Benni McCarthy's names have come up. Here is the latest.

Kaizer Chiefs will be hiring a new coach. Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates are in the market for a new assistant coach.. Meaning, as things stand he is set to become the new Amakhosi head coach. However, until he has penned down a deal, it is not official. In fact, it was just last season that Molefi Ntseki was appointed as it seemed Nabi was about to be announced.

So, Chiefs fans will be hoping for the same. Except this time, with Mosimane. Jingles has been linked with Chiefs for several seasons. Now, he is back in SA and is a free agent. Meaning, this is Amakhosi’s best opportunity to sign him yet. Interestingly, Mosimane confirmed surprise talks with Chiefs. Whilst, also inviting offers and hinting at the possibility of coaching them in recent months.

Refardless, Amakhosi’s technical staff is set to be revamped. Nabi will bring his own staff. Moreover, Mosimane has the same demands. Therefore, all of these Chiefs staff members are at risk of facing the axe.Following the exit of Sergio Almenara, Pirates are in the market for a new assistant coach. In fact, this is their top priority right now. That says a lot given the fact that six more Pirates players are set for exits. Furthermore, as many as seven players could be loaned out.

“Pirates stated that the club – with consultation of Riveiro – will look to use this offseason break to find suitable replacement/s as well as bolster the backroom staff in the technical, analysis, medical and conditioning departments,”. This is ironic since he is a Bucs legend. Also, he could become available soon, Meaning, he could be considered with Pirates set to make big changes to their technical team. After all, he is an attack coach.
