Jm donated his casket to Jerhode Jemboy Baltazar, also 17 yrs old—an EJK victim,” pahayag ng nakatatandang kapatid ni JM na si Jerom sa isang“Salamat po sa pagtulay mga kaibigan sa RESBAK, Paghilom, at AJkalinga Foundation Inc. Sigurado akong sumisigaw ng hustisya ang bunso namin sa langit,” dagdag niya.
Pinagbabaril umano ng mga pulis ng Navotas City Police ang 17-anyos na si Baltazar noong Agosto 2 sa Brgy. Kaunlaran habang inaayos nito ang gagamiting bangka sa pangingisda kasama ang kaniyang kaibigan. Noong mga oras na iyon, may tinutugis umano ang mga pulis na isang suspek, na batay sa impormasyong kanilang natanggap, ay nasa isa raw bangka sa nasabing barangay.“The police officers failed to positively identify the target and immediately opened fire on the two youngsters on the boat,” ani Jerom sa post.
“When the shooting stopped, the police officers did not even bother to verify or retrieve the boy who fell into the water and kept onlookers at bay,” saad pa nito. Matatandaan namang inanunsyo ng pamilya ni JM kamakailan ang pagpanaw ng voice actor noong Agosto 3 sa edad na 17-anyos, kapareho ng edad ni Baltazar.
