SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A Springfield Township Police K-9 aided in a felony drug arrest Thursday afternoon, according to a social media post.
According to the post on Facebook, officers initiated a traffic stop on a Chevrolet SUV traveling on South Arlington Road around 3:05 p.m.Police said “signs of drug paraphernalia and indicators” led to the deployment of K-9 officer Ryker for an open-air sniff around the vehicle.Officers found 62 grams of methamphetamine, 24 Oxycodone pills, 4 additional pills and drug paraphernalia.
According to the post, the driver was charged with multiple felony counts of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
