He did so in the wake of the publication of Britney Spears’ excellent memoir, The Woman in Me. Several excerpts of the book that feature Spears’ writing on Timberlake have circulated widely, including passages alleging cheating, an abortion Spears portrays as feeling obligated to go through with at age 19, and Timberlake’s imitation of AAVE .
Before the book’s release, ET printed this bit of supposed intel from an anonymous source: Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney’s memoir. In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance. They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her. Justin and Jessica just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past. Hmmm, that’s not really how evolution works.
