Ginebra import Justin Brownlee imagine that he would be in the position to become the winningest import back when he was tapped as a replacement import in 2016.Back then, all he wanted was to help Ginebra end an infamous eight-year title drought and win the championship. Fast forward to the current timeline, he’s now one series win away from surpassing Sean Chamber’s record of six titles.
“If we do win this championship I guess I’ll be the winningest import,” said the amiable reinforcement who was obviously thrilled by the possibility. For Cone though, winning or losing the Finals against TNT won’t do anything to Brownlee’s legacy in the PBA as he has already cemented his case as one of the greatest imports to have ever set foot in the league.
