The singer took to Instagram again to honor the basketball legend on Sunday with a special message.
"I am committed working the hardest, never settling for less than greatness! YOU TAUGHT US THAT @kobebryant," Bieber wrote, captioning a photo of himself wearing a No. 8 jersey, Bryant's early team number. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were among the nine people who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif., last weekend.
"It can't be," Bieber wrote when the tragic news was first reported on Jan. 26. "You always encouraged me mamba. Gave me me some of the best quotes that we smile about to this day.! Love you man!"
