Justice Sueing will return to Ohio State in 2022-23 after missing all but two games this past season with an abdominal injury.

Sueing missed all but two games this past year as he dealt with an abdominal injury that stemmed back to the Buckeyes' 2020-21 postseason run. Sueing averaged 10.7 points per game as Ohio State's third-leading scorer as a redshirt junior, and was expected to play a significant role alongside E.J. Liddell in 2021-22.

A three-star high school prospect out of Mater Dei in 2017, Sueing averaged 14.1 points per game across two seasons at California before transferring to Ohio State in 2019. Sueing had to sit out the 2019-20 season, but started all 31 games for the Buckeyes the following year. Given the recent NBA draft declarations of both Liddell and freshman star Malaki Branham, Sueing figures to feature prominently for the Buckeyes next season, and will be crucial to the team's success as it rebuilds following multiple high-profile exits from the program.

Sueing's return is the latest development in a busy week of roster news for the Buckeyes, as Branham declared for the draft this past Friday, Wright State transfer guard Tanner Holden committed to the Buckeyes on Saturday and senior captain Justin Ahrens entered the transfer portal on Monday.
