DC Comics has revealed Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, an upcoming crossover that will pit the iconic team against two legendary kaiju. The 7-issue series is coming October 17 from BrianBooch and Christian_Duce.
The Justice League is about to square off with two of the most titanic legends, Godzilla and Kong. As San Diego Comic-Con gets started in earnest, DC Comics reveals details of the shocking new crossover.
What starts as a routine clash between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom takes a dangerous turn when the wall between worlds is breached…with Godzilla, Kong, and the Monsterverse emerging on DC’s Earth! What ensues will be a brawl of unprecedented scale and destruction! Godzilla and Kong are Coming to the DC Universe in New Crossover The crossover is based on Legendary Pictures' Monsterverse, a film franchise and shared universe that began with 2014's rebooted Godzilla movie. The reboot of the iconic kaiju was followed up with the sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the 2017 feature film Kong. The two iconic monsters finally met in the crossover film Godzilla vs. Kong.
