NRL: Luke Brooks joins the Sunday night with Matty Johns and is GRILLED about his odd Tigers gift.
Roosters star Angus Crichton has admitted there were times during the 2023 season when he questioned what he was doing on an NRL field.
Crichton admitted to the SMH “there were times on the field where I was just like ‘what am I doing here?’ I didn’t feel confident, or powerful or strong,” he said. After the disappointment of last year, Crichton explained he “wanted to remind people of who I am and not be remembered as that guy who got locked up in a psychiatric ward, but the guy who is a great footy player.”Commentators stunned after blatant ‘forward’ pass
“I can understand why people were counting me out, but if anything, when people don’t want you it makes you want to prove people wrong and go out and show them who I am and what I am capable of,” he told the SMH.“Believing you’re the best and what you can do and achieve. “Looking back at it now, it has taught me a lot. As tough as it has been, I wouldn’t change it because it’s built me into the person I am now.”
