Crews are working to put out a 41-acre brush fire that started in Livermore on Saturday, June 8, just north of Interstate 580. Crews are working to contain a small brush fire that broke out in Livermore just north of Interstate 580 on Saturday shortly after noon.
The fire broke out a few miles west of where the Corral Fire burned 14,168 acres last week, southwest of Tracy and near Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Site 300. That fire was finally declared contained on Thursday. The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
