For the second straight year, University of Perpetual Help copped the best performing member school in the juniors division of the NCAA Season 99.
The Junior Altas amassed 804.5 points in 18 sporting events, beating Jose Rizal University and Arellano , which took the second and third places, respectively.
Perpetual displayed superb performances in the track and field event where Pampanga trackster Marvin Ramos turned heads as he won both the Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year plums after dominating in 100m, long jump, 4x100m, and 4x400m relay events. Daep and the Las Pinas-based crew also finished as runner-up in the boys’ 5x5 basketball as well as the Perpetual’s chess team which was guided by Kenneth Rovillos and Roel Abelgas.
