Residents of the West San Fernando Valley couldn’t figure out what they were hearing scrambling across their roofs late on the night of June 6. It was, well, rain. Or as the weather experts say, drizzle. By Wednesday, June 7, Los Angeles warmed up to a chilly 69 degrees, and smog levels were low. Even DTLA’s skyscrapers were nestled in the thick atmosphere.
